Jason Scott Bodah, age 52, of Stoneham, formerly of Wakefield passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2025.
He was the son of Jean B. (Sarafian) Gullage and her husband Joseph Gullage and the late Jimmy Allen. He was also predeceased by his father Jeffrey Anthony Bodah. He is survived by his siblings: Jeffrey Bodah and his wife Tara Dirrane, Erin Allen and her partner Jason LaMae, Amanda Gullage and her husband Tim McLennan Jr., Tasha Bodah, and Tammy Bodah. He was the proud uncle of Jayden LaMae, Jeffrey Bodah Jr., Timothy McLennan III, and Teagan Joseph McLennan. As well as his loving partner Lia Lawler and her two daughters Eva and Malia Lawler. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jason was raised in Wakefield and resided in Stoneham for the past ten years. He was very talented and worked as a painter and general contractor. Jason was a genuine free spirit with a love for travel, adventure, and a natural affinity for all things outdoors. Some of the greatest joys were found on the ski slopes, four-wheeling, solo skydiving, hiking, and traveling down the coast on his motorcycle, making friends everywhere he went. He was fun-loving, full of life, and will be remembered for his infectious smile, and big heart. Generous to a fault, Jason had a way of showing up for people in meaningful ways, he would not hesitate to give the very shirt off his back to help someone. His kindness, warmth, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday, September 30 from 4–7pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
His Funeral Service will be private for the family.
