Jeanne M. Imbrescia

Our beloved Jeanne M. (Carozza) Imbrescia, of Wakefield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply. Although her passing came far sooner than anyone expected, she left this world exactly as she would have wanted, with all of her children and loved ones by her side.

Born and raised in Malden and Revere, Massachusetts, Jeanne was the beloved daughter of the late Margaret Carrozza. She shared more than fifty wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life, Nunzio “Mac” Imbrescia, before his passing in 2011. She missed him dearly every day since, and her family finds comfort in knowing they are together once again.

Jeanne devoted more than thirty years of her career to Kontron Medical/Arrow International in Everett, where she took great pride in her work. To know Jeanne was to know grace, kindness, humor, and unconditional love. She had a quick wit, loved a good joke, and never passed up the chance to lovingly tease those around her. She was known for her beautiful blue eyes, radiant smile, and impeccable sense of style. Jeanne was an accomplished artist who found great joy in painting, creating handmade Christmas cards each year from her own original artwork. Jeanne had a special fondness for butterflies, believing they were gentle reminders of those we love.

While Jeanne was admired and loved by her many friends, former coworkers, and the caring staff at Brightview Senior Living in Wakefield, nothing in her life brought her greater happiness than her family. Of all the titles she held throughout her life, her favorite was simply “Nana.” She cherished every family gathering, every celebration, every conversation, and every opportunity to be surrounded by those she loved.

Jeanne is survived by her four children: Cheryl Kennedy and her husband, Terrence, and their children, Alycia Kennedy, Julie Mosca and her husband, Marc, and Peter Kennedy; Richard Imbrescia and his wife, Annette, and their children, Ariana Imbrescia and her fiancé, Jonathan Boone, Kristina Liesen and her husband, Clayton, and Samantha Wilson and her husband, Michael; Sheila Shedd and her husband, David, and their children, Michael Shedd and his fiancée, Clara Washburn, and Abygail Shedd; and Philip Imbrescia and his wife, Lisa DeBiasi-Imbrescia, father and stepmother, respectively, to Olivia DeSimone and her wife, Danielle, Sophia Imbrescia, Sydney Imbrescia, and Ava Imbrescia.

She was also the cherished great-grandmother of Elle Jeanne Mosca, Giuliana Liesen, Amelia Wilson, Christian Liesen, and Brooke Mosca. She is also survived by her siblings and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Those who knew Jeanne will remember a woman of remarkable class, quiet strength, generous spirit, and endless love. Her legacy lives on through the family she adored, the friendships she treasured, and the countless lives she touched with her warmth, compassion, kindness, laughter, and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. May every butterfly remind us that Jeanne’s love and spirit will always be with us.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, corner of Grove and Salem Sts., Lynnfield on Wednesday, August 5th at 11am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield prior to the mass from 9am-10:30am. Interment, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Jeanne’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
