Jean F McCauley

Jean F. McCauley, 71 a longtime resident of Wakefield died Monday April 10 at the Apple Valley Center in Ayer.

Born  in Melrose, MA September 23, 1951 she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Dorothy (Beeler) Evangelista.

Jean was a graduate of Wakefield High School Class of 1969. She was the Bookkeeper for New England Tile and Brick. Jean loved spending time at the beach and with her grandchildren. In her younger years she bred Shetland Sheep Dogs. She was known to be a collector of Prized Possessions.

Jean was the beloved wife of the late Peter Masi. She was the loving mother of Caitlin McCauley of Groton, Peter Masi Jr., of Florida and the late Derek and Matthieu Masi. She is also survived by her 8 grandchldren, Dillon, Eireann, Derek Jr., Alessandra, Samuel, Madeleine, Penelope, and Benjamin, and 2 nieces Jessica and Rebecca.

A graveside service will be held for Jean on Thursday April 13, at Forest Glade Cemetery, Lowell St., Wakefield  at 11 a.m.
