Jeffrey Thomas Mitchell

Jeffrey Thomas Mitchell, 50, of Sutton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 14, 2026.

Jeffrey was born on September 20, 1975, and grew up in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. He was the beloved son of Arthur Mitchell, who predeceased him, and Susan Mitchell. He is also survived by his brother, Jason Mitchell.

Jeffrey leaves behind his two daughters, Hayley Mitchell and Jordan Mitchell, and his lifelong partner of 22 years, Christine Sargent. Christine, Hayley, and Jordan were his world, and he loved each of them with every piece of his soul.

Jeffrey had a gift for making people laugh and finding joy in the things he loved. He enjoyed music and concerts, fishing, going to the beach, watching movies, and, perhaps most importantly, he absolutely loved his ice cream.

He was also a devoted dog dad. He is preceded in death by his beloved dog, Oakley, and leaves behind Jillian and Onyx, who will miss him dearly.

Jeffrey will be remembered for his humor, his love of music and adventure, and most of all, the immense love he had for his family and the people closest to him. His memory will live on in all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of Jeffrey’s life will be held by Christine, Hayley, and Jordan at a later date. Those who wish to attend are invited to reach out to the family for details.
