Jennifer Theresa Hanlon

Jennifer Theresa Hanlon, age 55, of Wakefield passed away on June 24, 2025, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born in Boston on July 31, 1969, and was the daughter of Raymond of Naples, Florida and the late Genevieve (Vitelli) Hanlon.

Jennifer was raised in Watertown and was a graduate of Matignon High School, Boston College and earned her master’s degree from the University of Michigan. She loved to travel, and most enjoyed time spent hiking.

She was the adoring mother of Alex and Max Steventon. She was the cherished sister of Joseph Hanlon and his wife Jen of Groton, MA and Ray Hanlon and his wife Nannette of Reading, MA. She is also survived by three nieces, Natalie, Kayla, and Grace, as well as one nephew, Nicholas.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 2 from 12-4pm at the Gloucester Elks, 97 Atlantic Rd #101, Gloucester, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
