Joan Carroll

Joan A . Carroll of Norton and formerly of Lynnfield died October 9 in Norton after a long period of failing health. She was 80 years of age.

Born October 9, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Frederick & Evelyn (Ingraham) Campbell. She was raised in Maine and was a graduate of Ricker Classical Institute of Houlton, ME.

Mrs. Carroll was the wife of the late Frederick E. Carroll . She was the mother of Mark F. Carroll and wife Laurinda of Norton and Cathy Barton and husband Frank of Annapolis, MD. Survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield, Thursday at 10 A .M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M. Interment will be at Willow Cemetery in Lynnfield.
