John Isabelle

John K. Isabelle, 76, of Bedford, formerly of Stoneham, died on Wednesday, September 9 at the VA Boston Healthcare System in West Roxbury.

Born in Springfield on January 21, 1933 he was the son of the late Walter S. and Abigail M. (Conroy) Isabelle.

Mr. Isabelle was raised in Springfield and was a graduate of Springfield High School. During the Korean Conflict he served in the US Navy from 1950 to 1953. He was a self employed Industrial Heating Contractor before his retirement. Mr. Isabelle had also been a member of the Mystic Valley Lodge A.F. and A.M. in Arlington.

Mr. Isabelle is survived by his son, Scott K. Isabelle and his wife Karen of Waukegan, IL, his two daughters, Lisa Palmer and her husband Daniel Drew of Plainfield, NH and Beth Isabelle of Showlow, NM, and his brother Robert Isabelle of Springfield. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Colleen and Amy Isabelle. Mr. Isabelle was predeceased by his brothers James and Thomas Isabelle and sister Claire Ryan.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 11am. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4pm. Interment will be at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at 2:30pm.
