John "Jack" C. Lubinski

John "Jack" C. Lubinski of Wakefield, MA passed away on March 30, 2026 at the age of 71 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston after a long battle with chronic health issues.

Jack is predeceased by his parents Leonard & Eleanor (Orsini) Lubinski of Waterboro, ME (formerly of Wakefield, MA). He is also predeceased by his sister Sandra (Lubinski) Gallo of Waterboro, ME and his brother Thomas Lubinski of Waterboro, ME.

In Jack's earlier years, he was employed by Melrose Wakefield Hospital and worked in the Operating Room as a nurse. He ended up changing careers to become everyone's favorite bartender at the Malden & Saugus Ninety Nines for nearly 30 years where he met many of his lifelong friends (including many of the Boston professional sports athletes). Jack was an avid runner back in the day and would enjoy jogging around Lake Quannapowitt, often several times a day. He enjoyed playing softball and was on several teams in Wakefield, Malden & Stoneham areas. He was a competitive candlepin bowler and made it on Candlepin Bowling with Don Gillis on Saturday morning TV. He was also on Candlepins for Cash with Bob Gamere. Jack loved his sports and followed the Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics and Patriots and often had a love/hate relationship with each team depending on how they were doing. A true New England fan!

Jack is survived by his brother Bill Lubinski and his wife Renee (Limpert) of Hudson, NH. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Steven Gallo of Limerick, ME and several nieces and nephews including Gina (Gallo) Staples and her husband Ben of Waterboro, ME; Christina (Gallo) Turner and her husband Troy of Old Towne, ME; Steven Gallo and his wife Sara of Lyman, ME; Caitlyn (Lubinski) Jussaume and her husband Steven of Litchfield, NH; Zachary Lubinski and his fiancé Kelly Mahoney of Salem, NH; and Matthew Lubinski of South Boston, MA; along with several great nieces, great nephews, many cousins and an abundance of friends.
