Karen Croce

Karen J . Croce , age 69, of Wakefield died Saturday, March 26 at her residence surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Malden on July 25, 1952 she was the daughter of the late Peter and Florence (Johnson) Iosua.

Karen enjoyed the simple things in life. She enjoyed travelling to Arizona to visit her youngest son Matt and his family and traveling up the Maine Coast in her Jeep to the ocean and beaches. Karen loved spending time with her family, most especially her grandchildren. She also loved her dogs, Sadie, Zoey, and Rudy.

Karen was the beloved mother of Larry W. Croce of Wakefield, Matthew J . Croce and wife Sheena of Anthem, AZ, and Julie M. Parziale of Fall River. She was the loving fiancé to Lou Gordon of Wakefield. She was the sister of Christopher Iosua and Patricia Dudley, both of Lunenberg and Carol Nardone of Wakefield. She is also survived by her six grandchildren: Ashley, Melissa, Shanna, Erica, Madison, Quincy, and Ryan, Tyler and Timothy Gordon; as well as her six great grandchildren: Sheayla, Joseph, Evelyn, Hunter, Maliya, Maeve and Hailie Gordon.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday from 9am-12pm, followed by a Graveside Service at Forest Glade Cemetery at 12:30pm.

Following the Graveside Service, the family will be returning to the Crystal Community Club, 77 Preston St., Wakefield.

The family requests donations to Breast Cancer Research Foundation charity in lieu of flowers.
