Kathleen Martin

Kathleen E . Martin , 45, a longtime Wakefield resident, died Tuesday, December 16 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Melrose on June 2, 1969 she was daughter of Janet (Farnsworth) and the late Joseph E . Martin , Jr.

Kathleen was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1987, and later went on to graduate from Framingham State College in 1992. She was a member of the First Parish Congregational Church of Wakefield and had worked as a former sales representative for Middlesex Gases and Technologies of Everett. Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and especially enjoyed her time in Rockport.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her two brothers: Bo Martin and his wife Kathi of Wakefield and Tom Martin and his wife Jill of Lynnfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews: Tori, Emma, Luke, Tom, Jr., and Amanda.

Her Funeral will be held in the First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St., Wakefield on Saturday at 11 am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Friday from 4 to 7pm.
