Kenneth Rhodes

Kenneth Willard Rhodes , age 86, of Melrose, MA, formerly of Belmont and Waltham, MA passed away peacefully on the 7th of March 2022.
Born in Boston, MA on April 1, 1935 he was the son of Aubrey and Georgina W (Easson) Rhodes . His father was born in Nova Scotia, Canada and his mother in Scotland.
Kenneth was a graduate of Belmont High School, class of 1953. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the Unites States Marine Corp and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). He was a retired Film Technician from Polaroid in Waltham & a retired bus driver at National School Bus in Waltham. He enjoyed cheering on his Boston sports teams, going to the track and watching thoroughbred horse racing, spending time at the beach and loved his lobster and corn on the cob after a day at Wingaersheek Beach!

He is survived by his two daughters Susan Auld (Geoffrey) and Linda Longo (Anthony). He was the proud grandfather of Brian, Andrew, Mark, Matthew Auld and Audrey Longo, all of Wakefield. He is also survived by his loving friend, Dorothy Mortellite of Melrose and his dearest friends the MacNeil family of Gloucester. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother William "Dusty" Rhodes
.
A private funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home.

Interment will be at the VA National Cemetery in Bourne.
