Kevin was a graduate of Saint Joseph's School and a former alter server for Saint Joseph's Parish in Wakefield. As a young boy Kevin was always passionate about youth hockey. He played for both Top Gun and Valley Junior Warriors always with his dad on the bench as his coach. Kevin went on to play hockey throughout high school and graduated from Wakefield High School in 2007. From High School he went on to work for Tufts University in their facility department. He recently finished his apprenticeship fulfilling his goal of becoming a Local 4 Elevator Mechanic at Otis Elevator Company. A job that he was proud of and a Union that he was honored to be a part of. He was also a member of the Saugus Everett Elks, where he formed many friendships over the past few years.
Kevin was an avid fisherman and boat enthusiast. He loved spending his time on the water with his dad, friends, and most importantly Jamie and Kora. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Kevin truly loved him. He gave the biggest teddy bear hugs, but always saved the tightest squeeze for his Mom. He also never let an opportunity to tell a good joke go by. When he wasn't on the ocean he was spending his time eating Chinese food and playing Keno always with Jamie by his side.
He was pre-deceased by his sister Danielle Grenham, and survived by his sister Kristen (Grenham) DeCost and her husband Matthew DeCost, brothers Cameron Grenham and his fiancé Gina Simpson, Aedan Grenham, and sister-in-law Jannell (Orsini) Foster and her husband Jason Foster. He was the adoring Uncle to Isabella DeCost (Godfather), Gianna DeCost, Haylee Foster, and Brendyn Foster. They each had their own reason to love their uncle and he loved them each just as much. He was survived by his maternal grandparents Thomas and Beatrice Marchant, his paternal grandmother Barbara Sbuttoni and his late grandfather Charles Sbuttoni.
