Kieran A.C. McKenna

Kieran A.C. McKenna of Wakefield died suddenly November 2, 2026 in Wakefield. He was 59 years of age. He was born in Armagh, Ireland on December 15,1966 and was the son of the late Patrick and Anna (McCourt) McKenna. He was raised in Ireland and had been a resident of the U.S. for the past 38 years. He was a professional chef and spent his career in the hospitality industry. At the time of his passing, he was the chef at StoneBridge of Burlington.

He is survived by his husband Sean J. Mitchell, his two stepsons Taidghain Mitchell and Declan Mitchell. He was the brother of Patrick McKenna of Wakefield and Mandy McParland of Ireland. He was also the uncle of Sean, Sinead, Alicia and Amy Louise.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Joseph Church, 173 Albion Street, Wakefield on Monday, November 9 at 10:00AM. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Avenue Wakefield on Sunday November 8 from 1-4PM.

Interment will take place in his native Ireland.
