Lilia Meade

Lilia M . Meade , 90, of Wakefield and formerly of Stoneham died January 31 in Reading.

Born in Stoneham on July 17, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Harold & Grace (Mitchell) Brown.

Mrs. Meade was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1938. She had been a long time Wakefield resident and was a member of the First Parish Congregational Church.

Mrs. Meade was the wife of the late John J. Meade . She is survived by her son Kevin J. Meade of Wakefield and her daughter Elizabeth L. Stafford of Avon. She was predeceased by her sons John M . & Richard W. Meade . She was the sister of the late Robert, Warren and Melvin Brown and Marguerite Schneider. She is also survived by her grandchildren John, Angela, Daniel, Katrina, Sean, Richard & Scott and her 2 great grandchildren Brendan & Anya.

Her funeral will be held in the First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St., Wakefield on Monday at 11:00. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Sunday from 1-5pm.
