Lorraine Meuse

Lorraine Meuse, 93, of Fremont, NH, a former resident of Wakefield died on Tuesday May 26, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts February 20, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Stella (Malas) Bazlynski.

Lorraine was raised in Chelsea, Massachusetts and lived in Wakefield where her and her husband raised their family.

Lorraine was the beloved wife of the late Lester A. Meuse. She was the loving mother of Karen McLaughlin and her husband Edward of Billerica, MA, Linda Tangney and her husband Bob of Fremont, NH, and David Meuse and his wife Alda of Hudson, MA. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren, Chris, Rob, Brendan, Nikki, Connor, Remo and David, and 8 great grandchildren, Nick, Maggie, Jayden, Madison, Koda, Auggie, Brynn, and Penny. She was preceded in death by her 4 brothers and her sister.

Lorraine worked for Guillows in Wakefield for a number of years before she retired. She was an avid seamstress. She enjoyed spending time with her family and vacationing in the white mountains.

Lorraine’s funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday May 30, at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service from 9-11 a.m.

Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
