Louise C. Avery

Louise C. Avery, age 82, of Woburn, formerly of Wakefield and Melrose, passed away on June 22 at the Woburn Rehab and Nursing Center.

She was born in Melrose on March 19, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Corinne M. (Chatelle) White.

Louise was raised in Melrose before settling in Wakefield to raise her family. She was an avid romance novel reader and Red Sox fan. She also loved watching old westerns.

She was the beloved mother of Jay M. Avery and his wife Nancy of Middleton, Dean J. Avery and his wife Lisa of Ipswich, and Dawn M. Garrity of Burlington. She was the sister of Robert White of Springfield, Michael White of Wakefield, JoAnn Crotty of Wakefield and the late Joseph White. She was the grandmother of Ryan Garrity and his partner Tiffany Huang, Danielle Grespan, Tyler Avery, and Nicole Avery. She is also survived by one great grandchild, Nicolas.

Her Funeral Services were private. Interment took place at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield. Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
