Lucille Mahoney

Lucille B. Mahoney, 80, of Wakefield formerly of Stoneham died Friday, December 4 at the Salem Hospital.

Born in Stoneham on January 17, 1929 she was the daughter of the late William and Katherine (Reynolds) Breagy.

Mrs. Mahoney was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of St. Patrick's High School. She was a long time Wakefield resident. Mrs. Mahoney was retired from the Bay State Box Company of Stoneham.

She was the wife of the late Robert F. Mahoney. Mrs. Mahoney is survived by her son Robert F. Mahoney and his wife Nancy of Wakefield, her daughter Eileen A. Merry and her husband Bruce of Wakefield and her sister Louise Noftall of Tewksbury. She is also survived by her three grandchildren; Ryan, Timothy and Katherine. Mrs. Mahoney was predeceased by her daughter Mary Margaret Mahoney and her sister Eleanor Thorton.

Her funeral will be held from the from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St, Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-6 pm.

Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
