Madeline Johnston

Madeline P . Johnston of Stoneham, age 104 died August 22 in Winchester. Born in Malden on October 22, 1903 she was the daughter of the late Walter & Elizabeth (McCarthy) Moore. Mrs. Johnston was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School. She had been a long time resident of Winchester before making her home in Stoneham.

She was the wife of the late John J. Johnston . She is survived by her son John J. Johnston , Jr. of Stoneham. She was also the grandmother of John J. Johnston , III of NH and the late Lois Hutchins and the great grandmother of Kimberly Hutchins of Stoneham. She is pre-deceased by her two brothers, Roger & Howard Moore and her sister Ruby Moore.

Visitation will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham on Friday September 5 from 11:AM to 12 Noon followed by a Graveside Service at the Lindenwood Cemetery on Montvale Ave. Stoneham
