Marcia A. Waugh, 82, passed away on October 21, 2026, following a courageous battle with cancer. She will be remembered for her strength, her love of family, and the many special memories she created with the people she loved most.
Marcia was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Amy Lynne, and her parents, Dorothy and Stott Morse.
She leaves behind her brother, Robert Morse; of Bonita Springs Fl her sister, Barbara Horwood and her husband Ronald from Lynnfield, her son, Roger Waugh Jr., and his wife, Jessica, of Eliot, Maine; and her daughter, Alison Flynn, and her husband, Daryl, of Hollis, New Hampshire.
Marcia was a proud and loving grandmother to five grandchildren: Ryan Flynn, Noah Flynn, Harrison Waugh, Samuel Waugh, and Emma Flynn, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
Family was the center of Marcia’s world. Her love extended far beyond her immediate family to include her many cousins and their children, all of whom were an important part of her life. She treasured the time spent together, the laughter shared, and the bonds that kept generations of family connected.
Marcia dedicated many years of her working life to the Lynnfield public school system, where she served her community before eventually retiring. Following retirement, she moved to Bonita Springs, Florida, where she embraced a new chapter of life filled with sunshine, friendship, and the activities she loved. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards, and relaxing by the pool with friends.
After being diagnosed with cancer, Marcia moved to Nashua, New Hampshire, to be closer to her beloved family. She resided at Langdon Place of Nashua, where she once again made many friends and formed meaningful connections. Even during this difficult chapter of her life, she continued to touch the lives of those around her.
Although she cherished her Florida lifestyle and the friendships she made there, nothing meant more to Marcia than her family. They were her greatest joy, her deepest love, and the most important part of her life.
Marcia’s strength and courage throughout her battle with cancer were a testament to the woman she was. While her passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of those who loved her, the memories she created, the love she gave, and the family bonds she cherished will continue to live on.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her greatest legacy was the love she gave and the family she held so close to her heart.
A private Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday October 28. Flowers can be sent to the McDonald-Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, Stoneham.
