Marguerite Perry

Marguerite G . Perry , 98 of Columbia, SC and formerly of Wakefield, Melrose, Malden and Ocala, FL died March 3 in Columbia. She was born in Malden, MA on June 11, 1916 and was the daughter of the late Gustav and Rachel (Sweetser) Gleitsmann. Mrs. Perry was raised in Malden and was a graduate of Malden High School. She later lived in both Wakefield and Melrose before making her home in So. Carolina. She had been a member a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Wakefield and St. Mary Church of Melrose.

Mrs. Perry was the beloved wife of the late Francis L. Perry . She was the loving mother of Edward Perry of Lantana, FL, Kevin Perry of Oak Ridge, NJ, Marguerite Sookikian of Columbia, SC and Martha Carriere of Stoneham. She was the sister of the late Paul Gleitsmann and Anita Smith. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Her funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Tuesday March 10 at 1PM. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday 3-7PM.
