Marjorie J. “Margie” Doyle, age 95, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, in Woburn, MA.
She was born in Medford, MA on February 19, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Warren J. and Marjorie E. (McLaughlin) Ross. Marjorie was the beloved wife of the late John F. “Dubba” Doyle, and a devoted mother to Janet Gard and husband Stephen of York, ME, and Maureen McDonald and husband Marty of Andover. She was a cherished grandmother to Brian Gard and wife Brinna, Lauren Reny and husband Ryan, and Emma McDonald. Marjorie was a loving great-grandmother to Owen and Lily Gard and Alexis and Landon Reny. She was the sister of Warren J. Ross, Jr. of Tewksbury and the late Carol Errico. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children.
Marjorie was raised in Stoneham and was a proud graduate of Stoneham High School. She later worked for Olmsted-Flint and MA-Com Federal Credit Union, where she spent many years before retiring.
Marjorie was deeply devoted to her family, who were the center of her life, and she will be fondly remembered by all who knew her. She enjoyed bowling and took great pleasure in knitting and cross stitch, creating many cherished pieces for those she loved. She had a love for dogs and provided a loving home to all she owned.
Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, Stoneham, on Thursday, January 8, at 12 Noon. Visiting hours for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to Care Dimensions Hospice, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B102, Danvers, MA 01923.
