Marjorie Helen (Krueger) Marston, born on March 6, 1928, passed away on October 16, 2026. Marjorie was the oldest child of Charles and Ruby Krueger, and the sister of two brothers, Carl and Myron, and one sister, Marion.
Marjorie was born at The New England Sanitarium and Hospital in Stoneham, MA, but spent her early childhood in Loma Linda, CA. Her family later moved to New York State (her father’s home state) where she attended Union Springs Academy, graduating in 1945. She often talked fondly about her time at USA, with many classmates becoming lifelong friends.
Marjorie met Robert Dalton Marston while he was working at the New England Sanitarium and Hospital in Stoneham, MA, where she was a nursing student. They were married in Gloucester, MA. on August 30, 1951. They had three children - David, Margot, and Robert - in the ensuing years. During this time, she was employed in the Intensive Care Unit at the San and later became charge nurse overseeing a 40-bed medical/surgical wing. As busy as she was, she still spent time with her husband and children, going with them on camping trips, climbing mountains, teaching the children to swim, and enjoying many cross-country trips with her family. She loved the outdoors, earning a Pathfinder Master Guide when she was younger. She was a devout member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and instilled in her children the love of the Lord.
Marjorie was predeceased by her beloved husband of 65 years, Robert; her parents; and her two brothers, Carl and Myron. She is survived by her sister, Marion Hart and her husband Jerry; her sister-in-law Doris Krueger; her children, David Marston, Margot (Marston) Connelly and her husband Peter, and Robert Marston and his wife, Kathy (Lamoreau) Marston; as well as her grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nieces and nephews, all who adored her.
