Mary L. Davis

Mary Louise (McDonald) Davis passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 4, 2024, at age 82.  She was born in Revere, grew up in Medford and graduated from Girls Catholic High School in Malden.  

While raising her family in Stoneham and Lynnfield, Mary could be found tending her flower gardens or curled up with a good book.  She loved our backyard cookouts as much as our far-flung family vacations.

The only thing that Mary adored more than the many beloved dogs she owned over the years was her family.  Even after parting ways with her husband Phillip, they would remain best friends for life.  She then settled first in Wakefield and finally in North Andover.

Mary leaves behind son James and wife Virginia, daughter Suzanne White and husband David, and sons Michael and Paul.  She also leaves grandchildren Kyle and wife Jenny, Tyler, Arielle and Cameron White, and Cassidy, Ryleigh and Michael Davis Jr., along with several great-grandchildren.

Mary was predeceased by older sisters Charlotte and Marilyn, her former husband Phillip Davis and her eldest grandchild, Bianca Davis.  

After a private funeral service, burial will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Stoneham. Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, Stoneham.
