Mary R. Leonard, of Reading, formerly of Stoneham died at her home on Wednesday March 8. A member of the Century Club, Mary turned 101 this past December.  

Born in Shenandoah, PA December 14, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Sadie (Delikat) Gaborek. 

Mary was a graduate of Shenandoah High School Class of 1938. She was a longtime Parishioner at St. Patrick Church where she was a member of the Sodality. She was also a member of the Emblem Club, which is a female auxiliary of the Elks Club.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late James A. Leonard. She is survived by her sister-in-law Elizabeth D’Entremont and her husband Robert of Stoneham, Noreen D’Entremont and her husband Roger of Reading, her brother- in-law Leonard Hoyt and his wife Patricia, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Robert and 7 brothers and sisters.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
