Michael Solazzo

Michael J. Solazzzo, age 50 of Stoneham died November 28 at his home after a long battle with cancer.

He was born in Boston, MA on August 18, 1972 and was the son of Michael A. Solazzo and Jane (Didonato).

He was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School. He worked for many years in the construction industry as a plasterer. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics. He also enjoyed biking, music and his automobiles.

He was the father of Brooke, Anthony, Jordan and Michael. He is also survived by his mother Jane C. Wingate and her husband Thomas and his father Michael A. Solazzo. He was the nephew of Frank Solazzo, Jeannie Anthony, Vin Solazzo and the late Geraldine Carroll. He is also survived by his close cousin Joseph Carroll.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Private Funeral Services were held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home. Interment took place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
