Milagros Malave

Milagros Malave, age 91, of Stoneham, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, at Bear Hill Nursing Center.

Born in Puerto Rico on November 19, 1934, Milagros was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She had a big heart and especially loved hosting her Friday family dinners, where she shared her passion for cooking. Her home was always open to everyone, and it was her joy to offer you a meal. She could light up any room with her humor and make you laugh with her amazing sense of fun.

She was the beloved wife of the late Gilberto Malave. She is lovingly survived by her children, Evelyn Malave of Stoneham, Louis Malave of Lawrence, and Maria Malave of Wakefield. She was the proud and devoted grandmother of Wendi Perez, Sara Malave, Devin Looney, and Joseph Looney, and the cherished great-grandmother of Savannah Ward and Avery Thompson.

Her Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan-Anderson Funeral Home, 322 Main Street, Stoneham on Monday, June 8 at 12pm. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 10am. Interment, Lindenwood Cemetery, Montvale Ave., Stoneham.

Milagros will be remembered for her love of family, her strength, and the lasting impact she made on all who knew her.
