Mitzie Nordan Falite

Mitzie Nordan Falite “Mit”, 70, of Coker, Alabama passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025. Mitzie was the daughter of Cynthia Vermelle Nordan and father Joseph Lynn Nordan (Both deceased).

She grew up alongside her late brother Jim Nordan, sister Sandra Sanders of Gordo Al and brother David Nordan of Birmingham Al.

Mitzie, alongside Stephen Falite, had two children. Justin Falite and his wife Alyssa of Gardner and Britney Falite of Danvers.

Above all else, Mitzie took overwhelming joy in her title of “Mema” to Justin and Alyssa’s children, Isabella Falite and Anthony Falite. The distance between Alabama and Massachusetts had no effect on her unwavering love and delight in knowing each detail of their lives.

Mitzie was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and know to the family as Auntie Mitzie. To know her was to love her. She will be deeply missed, yet her selflessness and devotion to family will live on forever.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, Ma on Thursday May 22nd from 4-7 pm.
