Nina Alessi

Nina Marie Alessi, 87, of Wakefield died on Wednesday, March 31 at her residence.

Born in Boston on August 16, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria (Iannello) Consolo.

Mrs. Alessi had been a Wakefield resident since 1952. She was raised and educated in the West End of Boston. Mrs. Alessi was a member of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish in Wakefield.

She was the wife of the late Charles Alessi. Mrs. Alessi is survived by her four children; Maria Rosenfield of Lynnfield, Anthony Alessi of Wakefield, Debra Ann Ford and her husband James of NJ and Charles Alessi of Lynnfield, her two brothers; John Consolo of Melrose and Frank Consolo of Whitman, her six grandchildren; Jeffrey, Melissa, Gina, Lauren, Ryan and Courtney and her two great grandchildren; Andrew and Luke. She was predeceased by her Two brothers; Carmelo Consolo and Guy Consolo and her three sisters; Mary DiMaggio, Natalie Grasso and Josephine Terravecchia.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St, Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
