Pamela J. Paige of Wakefield, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 8, surrounded by her loving family.
Originally from Lynn, Massachusetts, Pam lived—and loved—life to the fullest.
An avid runner and proud business owner of the former On Target Personal Training, Pam dedicated her life to helping others thrive. She was a devoted mother and wife, a doting Nonni to her four beloved granddaughters, and a beautifully gifted writer. Pam enriched countless lives with her humor, compassionate spirit, and impeccable taste in music. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pam is predeceased by her beloved husband, Stephen C. Grasse of Brighton, Massachusetts; her sisters Deborah Paige of Lynn, Massachusetts, Gail Carlson of Manchester, Connecticut, and Donna Woods of Lynn, Massachusetts; her nephews Cliff Carlson of Manchester, Connecticut, Robert Woods of Boxford, Massachusetts, and Bill Rodrigue of Lynn, Massachusetts; as well as her parents, Kenneth Paige of Lynn, Massachusetts, and Caroline Kwiatkowski-Paige of Falmouth, Massachusetts.
She is survived by her loving children: her son, Jason L. Grasse, and his wife, Layne, of Wakefield, Massachusetts; and her daughter, Alainna G. Hertel, and her husband, Greg, of Londonderry, New Hampshire. She is also survived by her siblings: her sister, Carol Rodrigue, and her husband, Louis, of Lynn, Massachusetts; and her brothers, Ken Paige and his wife, Lily, of Seattle, Washington, and Rick Paige along with his wife, Joni Berglund-Paige, of Centerville, Massachusetts. She will also be missed by her many cherished nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
Pam also leaves behind so many of her beloved longtime friends, She held especially close her lifetime friend Vicky Vanderschmidt of Lexington, Massachusetts; her treasured friend and running companion Judy Jacoby of Wakefield, Massachusetts; and Deborah A. Venuti of Lawrence, Massachusetts—her best friend, confidant, and travel companion.
In her most cherished role as Nonni, Pam leaves behind her four adored granddaughters: Natalee and Chelsea Hertel of Londonderry, New Hampshire, and Cora and Cleo Grasse of Wakefield, Massachusetts.
Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave,. Wakefield on Thursday, February 19 at 11:30am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held prior to the service from 9:30am-11:30am. Interment to follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Pam’s memory may be made to the Beebe Library in Wakefield, Massachusetts; the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts; or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
