Patricia Jane Todd 1952-2026

Patricia “Patty” Jane Todd, age 73, of Wakefield, MA formally of Malden, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends on January 4, 2026 after a long battle with cancer.

She was born in Stoneham, MA on June 11, 1952, and was the loving daughter of the late Esther Jane and John “Jack” Todd. Patty was the beloved mother to Dawn Piracini and her husband Bob of Wakefield, MA, the late Tara Perna of Malden, MA, and Toni-Marie Evans and her husband Jason of Amesbury, MA. She was a cherished GMA to Gabrielle Pandolfo, Finnegan Wilson, Samantha Evans, Shea Wilson, and Sophia Evans. She was the sister to Diane Mulcahy and her husband the late Phil Mulcahy of Milton, MA, Terry Cryan and husband Tom of Westford, MA, Margaret Connollly and her husband Tom of Stoneham, MA, John Todd and his wife Karen of Melrose, MA, and Kathy Drummey and her husband Patrick of Reading, MA. Patty is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Patty was raised in Malden and a graduate of Malden High School. After graduation, she became a dental assistant and worked there until joining the family business, Paisley Maintenance where she became Vice President. Later in life, Patty changed careers and joined the Middlesex Sheriff’s office for twenty years before her retirement as Captain.

Patty’s greatest pride was raising her three daughters and her grandchild, Gabby. She loved to travel, among her favorites were Greece and Italy. Spending quality time with her lifelong friends brought her so much joy.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday, January 8 from 4-7pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield on Friday, January 9 at 10:30am. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
