Patrick J. Nigro

Patrick J. Nigro of Wakefield died February 27 at age 44. 

He was born in Melrose, MA on March 3, 1978, and was the beloved son of Dennis M. and Jean Ann (DiSanto) Nigro of Wakefield. 

He was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1996 and from Nichols College in 2000. He was a lifelong hockey player and was a goaltender for Wakefield High School and also Nichols College. He had worked his adult life in the building trades.

Patrick was the loving brother of Dennis M. Nigro and his wife Antonella and Erica Bibo and her late husband Chris. He was the devoted uncle of Alessia and Michael Nigro and C.J. and Jameson Bibo and the nephew of Michael DiSanto and his wife Maureen and Marie McNall. 

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Florence Church/Lazarus Center for Healing Shrine, 47 Butler Avenue Wakefield on Tuesday, March 7 at 11:00am. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
