Philomena Dicarlo

Philomena Mary DiCarlo , 87, of Stomeham died Sunday, May 24 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center.

Born in Medford on April 28, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Rose (Sarni) Catino.

Mrs. DiCarlo was a member of the St. Patrick's Mothers Club in Stoneham.

She was the wife of the late Peter J. DiCarlo Sr. Mrs. DiCarlo was the mother of Mary Ann Buccheri and her husband Ronald of Wilmington, Peter J. DiCarlo Jr. and his wife Debbie of Stoneham and Rosanne Anderson and her husband Ken of North Reading. Sister of Jennie Martell of Everett. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren; Jason Buccheri, Michelle and Kenny Anderson and Gina DiCarlo . Mrs. DiCarlo was predeceased by her two brothers; Pat Catino and Lou Catino.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St, Stoneham on Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St, Stoneham at 10am. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8pm.

Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
