Phyllis L. Abdulhayoglu

Phyllis Lorraine Abdulhayoglu (nee Patrick), May 2 1934 – June 19 2025, of Lynnfield, MA died peacefully at home after a brief illness. Lorraine, as she was known to family and friends, was born in Everett, MA and graduated from Everett High School. She then pursued higher education at Simmons College, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, after which she worked at the Deaconess Hospital in Boston, MA. It was at the Deaconess where she met her beloved husband of over 59 years, Sefik. She was the devoted and proud mother to Elisa (and her husband, Michael Cieslewicz), Emil (and his wife, Tamara Abdulhayoglu) and Nur (and her life partner, Damon Osora). Lorraine’s biggest joys and smile in life came from her four cherished grandchildren, Chloe, Michael, Kaitlyn, and Peter. Lorraine also leaves behind her four adored granddogs, Luna, Jasper, Lenny, and Kiki. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the MSPCA at Northeast Animal Shelter.

Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
