Rachael Glionna

Rachael Glionna, 51, a lifelong resident of Melrose, passed away on September 10, 2026.

She was a 1992 graduate of Melrose High School and co-owner of Melrose Electrology Centre for 27 years, an occupation she truly enjoyed, especially the many clients who became friends over the years.

Rachael was a lover of animals, a wonderful cook, an avid reader, and had a remarkable sense of humor. She was a gifted impressionist who brought laughter to her family and friends with her impressions and quick wit. Her kindness, warm smile, and genuine compassion touched everyone who knew her. She had a special concern for those in need and always had a comforting way of helping and making others feel cared for.

Rachael endured a long and courageous battle with cancer with strength and grace. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her father, John Glionna, and is survived by her mother, Diane Glionna, and her brother, Gregory Penta, both of Melrose; her grandmother, Camille Tuttavilla; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
