Regina "Sue" Ducette

Regina Suzanne Ducette, age 92, of Wakefield passed away on August 16, 2026 at home with her loved ones.

She was born in Boston on September 30, 1933 and was the daughter of Elizabeth (Wilson) Langevin of Scotland and her husband John Langevin of Lewiston, Maine. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond L. Ducette Jr on August 19, 1986.

She was raised in Hyde Park and was a summa cum laude graduate of Hyde Park High, class of 1951. She was a lover of cats, and of nature, and enjoyed many hours of gardening, bird- and whale-watching and basking in the sun on the shores of Lake Winona in New Hampshire.

She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Smith and her husband Donald of Quincy, Elaine Ducette of Wakefield, Edward Ducette and his wife Patricia of Wakefield, the late James Ducette, and Raymond Ducette III and his wife Mary of Bloomington, Indiana. She was the grandmother of Nicholas Ducette and the great-grandmother of Seth Ruchalski, both of Tewksbury. She was the great-grandmother of Demri Tortorella of Wakefield.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on August 26th , 2026, at 5 to 7 PM.

A private interment for family will take place at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
