Richard L. Dussault, 72, of Wakefield died Tuesday, August 25 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Born in Cambridge on January 2, 1937 he was the son of the late John and Julia (Healey) Dussault.
Mr. Dussault was raised in Cambridge and was a graduate of Rindge Technical School of Cambridge. He was retired from Textron Defense Systems of Wilmington. Mr. Dussault was an avid golfer and was a member of the Parker Tavern Golf League. He had served in the Army Nation Guard.
Mr. Dussault is survived by his wife Rosalie (McInnis), his three sons; Dennis A. Dussault & wife Linda of Methuen, David J. Dussault & wife Kristin of Wakefield, Daniel F. Dussault & wife Nancy of No. Andover, his daughter Diane E. Miller & husband John of Derry, NH and his sister Lorraine Hirtle of Cambridge. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren. Mr. Dussault was predeceased by 6 sisters and 4 brothers.
Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Saturday at 9AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 PM.
