Robert Arthur

Robert C . Arthur , 81, of Wakefield died on Friday, October 21 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

Born in Malden on January 3, 1930 he was the son of the late Charles and Lucretia (Hancock) Arthur .

Mr. Arthur was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. He had worked as an Inspector for Palmer Manufacturing in Malden.

Mr. Arthur was the loving and devoted husband of Lois D. (Laine) Arthur . He is also survived by his brother-in law Richard Laine and his wife Elaine of SC and his sister-in-law Robyn Lovering of Norton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Glade Cemetery, Lowell St., Wakefield on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
