Robert Trayers

Robert J. Trayers of Middleton formerly of Wakefield and Revere died Sunday, November 27 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

Born in Boston on June 7, 1942 he was the son of the late James and Kathryn (Dolan) Trayers.

Mr. Trayers was raised in Somerville and Chelsea and was a graduate of Immaculate Conception High School of Revere and Burdette College of Boston. He was a retired sales manager of Horizon Beverage of Avon and had served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard.

He was the husband of Ann M. (Wedge) Trayers. He was the father of Kelly Christiano and her husband Tony of Middleton. He was the uncle of Jim and Tina Wedge, Elaine and Jim Conrad, Mike and Jackie Ebert and Christopher Ebert. Brother in-law of Mary and Ed Ebert, James and Judy Wedge and the late Paul Wedge. Great-uncle of Lily Ebert, Hannah and Nicholas Wedge, Patrick and Lauren Mancuso and Caitlin Conrad. He is also survived by his sister Mary Cowan Brown of Lowell.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8pm. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
