Ruth Fieldhouse

Ruth G . Fieldhouse , 97, a longtime resident of Wakefield died on Sunday March 24 at the Wingate at Reading.

Born in Stoneham on January 4, 1916, she was the daughter of the late David T. and Ellen H. (King) Foster.

Mrs. Fieldhouse was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School. She was also a graduate of Salem State College where she earned her Master's Degree in Library Science. She was a retired Librarian from Peabody High School.

Mrs. Fieldhouse was the wife of the late Herbert Fieldhouse , Jr. She is survived by her two sons, David H. Fieldhouse of Wakefield and Daniel F. Fieldhouse of MD. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Brandon Fieldhouse , Linda Lee Davis, Lisa A Qureshi and Kurt D. Fieldhouse .

A private graveside service will be held at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.
