Susan M. Champagne

Susan M. Champagne, age 76, of Wakefield passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025.

She was born in Stoneham on October 17, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Paul F. and Ursula (Muse) Champagne.

She was raised in Wakefield and attended Wakefield public schools. Susan graduated from Wakefield High School as a member of the National Honor Society.

She had worked many years as a hair stylist at the Donald Francis Hair Salon in Malden.

She enjoyed all forms of dance, especially ballet. Susan was an accomplished ballet dancer and was an integral part of the E. Virginia Williams (founder of the Boston Ballet) School of Dance in Malden for many, many years.

She was the loving sister of Cynthia Champagne Collins and her husband Kenneth Collins of Southwest Harbor, ME. She is predeceased by her brother Paul F. Champagne, Jr.

Her burial was private. Interment took place at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield. Arrangements were in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
