Theresa Crosby

Theresa A . Crosby , 78, of Reading, formerly of Stoneham, died on Thursday, December 25 at the Radius Rehabilitation Center in Danvers.

Born in Stoneham on August 11, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Hazel (Butlers) Wells.

Mrs. Crosby was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1948. She was a retired under reporter for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover. Mrs. Crosby had been a Reading resident since 1956 and was a member of St. Athanasius Church in Reading and St. Patrick Church in Stoneham.

She was the wife of Richard J. Crosby . She was the mother of Richard J. Crosby Jr. and his wife Roberta and Jo-Ann Crosby all of Reading. She was the grandmother of Richard III and his wife Nicole, David, and Brian and the great grandmother of Lily Grace. She was the sister of Edwin Calhoun of Colbrook, NH and John Calhoun of Lynn.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Tuesday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday 4-8 PM. Interment will be at Charles Lawn Cemetery in Reading.
