Theresa W. Kenney

Theresa W. Kenney, age 75 of Stoneham, died peacefully on Monday, December 11th.

She was born in Boston on November 29th, 1948 and was the daughter of the late James and Helen (Quinn) Byrne.

Terri loved spending time with family, friends, and most of all spoiling her grandchildren. She was the eldest of nine children, and took on the role of matriarch of the family at a young age.

Terri was the beloved wife of 55 years to George Kenney. She was the loving mother of Brian Kenney and his wife Susan of Stoneham, and Michael Kenney of Stoneham. She was the grandmother of Patrick and Morgan Kenney. Terri was the sister of Kathy Demers and her husband Bob of Marlborough, Rosie Cosby and her husband Kevin of West Roxbury, Doris Thomas and her husband Billy of Marshfield, Diane Byrne of Framingham, Sean Byrne and his wife Peggy of Dedham, and sister-in-law of Pam Byrne of Watertown. She was predeceased by her siblings Paula MacDonald, Jimmy Byrne and Carolyn Byrne. Terri is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Her Funeral Service will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday December 15th at 10:00 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at Funeral Home on Thursday December 14th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
