, 90, of Wakefield formerly of Sebring, Florida, died Saturday, May 23 at the Wilmington Health Care Center.
Born in East Boston on September 12, 1918 he was the son of the late Joseph and Lorenza (Puccio)

Mr.
Damigella
was raised in East Boston and was a graduate of East Boston High School. He was a World War II Merchant Marine Veteran. Mr.
Damigella
was a retired salesman for Prudential Insurance Company. He was a member of the Woburn Sons of Italy, The Highlands Little Theater in Sebring, Florida, where he won numerous awards for his acting and singing. Mr.
Damigella
also received many accolades for running the restaurant in the Highlands Little Theater. He also volunteered at Smile in Sebring, Florida.

Damigella
was the husband of the late Virginia "Jenny" (Nolfo). He is survived by his four children; Larry

& his wife Christine of Billerica, Lynne

of Wakefield, Robert
Damigella
of Morristown, NJ and Lisa Pratt & her husband David of Attleboro, his brother Thomas
Damigella
of Boston and his sister Mary Ferrera of Idaho, his five grandchildren; Joseph and Andrew
Damigella
, Michael and Eric Facchini and Tara Patterson & her husband Jeff. Mr.
Damigella
is also survived by 3 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his two sisters; Carmen DeRosa and Antoinette Stuto.
A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Saturday at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St, Framingham, MA 01701 or to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210.
