Virginia Ruth "Ginny" Muse

Virginia Ruth “Ginny” Muse, age 95, passed away on September 8, 2026 in Stoneham, Massachusetts.

Virigina was born on June 2, 1931 in Stoneham, the daughter of Paul W. Evans and Margaret Mary “Marjorie” MacPhee Evans. She grew up in Wakefield and graduated from Wakefield High School.

On June 26, 1954, Virginia married Raymond Leo Muse in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Together, they had three children, Robert Paul Muse, Cheryl Ann Muse, and Michael James Muse, and in later years shared the joy of watching their family grow through their grandchildren.

Virginias family grew to include her grandchildren Melissa Bowen and her husband Brett Rowen, of Orlando Florida, and John Fitzgibbons of Hobe Sound, Florida. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Grayson and Easton Rowen of Orlando, and Finley Fitzgibbons of Hobe Sound.

Virginia was predeceased by her parents Paul W. Evans and Margaret Mary “Marjorie” MacPhee Evans and by Raymond Leo Muse, who passed away in 2013 in Joplin, Missouri. She is survived by her children Robert, Cheryl, and Michael; her grandchildren Melissa and John; and her great-grandchildren Grayson, Easton, and Finley.

Ginny worked for many years at Harmonic Drive. Following her retirement, she worked as a volunteer at the Wakefield Senior Center. She was an avid baker and was famous for making the best “Whoopie pies”. She also loved gardening and had a lifelong love of cats, of which she held a special place in her heart.
