Walter D. Hyatt

Walter D. Hyatt, age 86 of Walpole, passed away on June 25, 2026 at his home.

He was born in Malden on February 29, 1940 and was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Kelleher) Hyatt.

Walter was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (Brogan) Hyatt. He was the loving father of Daniel Hyatt and his wife Susan of Norwood. He was the grandfather of Alanna, Connor, and Keira Hyatt. He was the brother of the late Edward Hyatt of Alaska and the late Philip Hyatt of Malden. Walter is also survived by many nieces, nephews, his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday June 30 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield on Wednesday July 1 at 10:00 a.m. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
