Warren L. Currant Jr.

Walter L. Currant Jr., 73 a lifelong resident of Everett died Saturday September 12 in Wakefield.

Born in Malden, January 9, 1953, he was the son of the late Water L. and Jane (Oberlander) Currant.

Walter was a graduate of Everett High School Class of 1971. He was a longtime bartender at Zeke’s Pub in Everett. Walter had a passion for the cars he had over the years, especially his Lincoln’s.

Walter was the loving brother of Philip Currant and his wife Cynthia, Jane Newbegin and her husband Richard all of Wakefield and the late Donna McDonough. He is also survived by his 6 nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephew.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday September 22, 4-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be private.
