William Teixeira

William A . Teixeira , 85, of Wakefield died April 20 in Reading after a brief illness. Mr. Teixeira was born in Cambridge on June 7, 1930 and was the son of the late Prospero J. and Wilhelmina (Furtado) Teixeira . He was raised in Cambridge and had been a longtime Wakefield resident. He was retired from the H.P. Hood Company.

Mr. Teixeira was the beloved husband of the late Lillian (Blatz). He was the loving father of William A . Teixeira , Jr. and David A . Teixeira of Wakefield. He was the brother of the late Joseph, James, and George Teixeira . He is also survived by his five grandchildren.

His Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
